Each guitar strap is hand cut from 8oz. weight vegetable tan leather (as known as saddle leather) and approximately 1/8in thick. The strap is 1 piece of leather and not laminated vinyl, faux leather or bonded leather, but genuine full grain vegetable tooling leather. Each strap is crafted to be made adjustable for personal comfort.
The leather is crafted through 21 steps from start to finish. The stain is hand rubbed and polished. A final water repellent finish is applied to the grain side. The underside is unfinished and cannot be stained or sealed as this will not allow the leather to breath and will cause it to dry out. The finish is hand stained with darker edges and ends resulting in a rich, burnished medium/dark brown. The center is a lighter blend of brown and golden tan glow. This product will last for many years and gets even more comfortable as time goes by.
You can have your name, initials, etc. engraved at no extra charge (maximum up to 12 characters including spaces-no more will fit properly on the guitar strap) for FREE!

Each piece of leather takes on its own personal character and results in a finish that will vary slightly in shades. Each piece of leather contains its own natural markings.
